The OCBA welcomes all judges, lawyers and law students who reside within Ottawa County or practice law in the Ottawa County courts to apply for membership. Annual dues for membership are $40. The membership year is from April 1 through March 30 of each year; however, memberships are accepted throughout the year.
To learn more about the OCBA, its purpose and benefits, see the ABOUT tab on the menu bar, and answers to our FAQs on the left-hand menu. Non-members are welcome at certain events, such as the fall bar-bench meeting, but other events, such as the social events, are open to members (and guests) only. Membership entitles the lawyer to vote and serve on the OCBA Board of Directors. Members receive e-bulletins and updates from the association regarding court information and upcoming events. They may also choose to be listed under the “Find a Lawyer” section of our website.
To apply for membership in the OCBA, complete the application form with your name and e-mail address, and submit your dues payment of $40 to the Ottawa County Bar Association. If you are an active member of the Michigan Bar in good standing and would like to be listed on the “Find a Lawyer” tab, make sure that you complete all fields as you would like them to appear on the website and indicate no more than five practice areas under which you would like to be listed.
Please make checks payable to the Ottawa County Bar Association and mail them to:
